Yeah, to be honest, my Ford workshop is really the best. When I'm thinking back to what I expierenced with BMW in Austria (the one in Germany was really great!) and Skoda... that was mostly an absolute distaster... espeacially the 2 BMW workshops in Austria (and also even BMW Austria itself)... there was nothing premium...
My Focus ist not perfect, but I like it and the support from Ford Austria and my workshop is top.

for the (I hope it is the correct English translation) Diesel particulate filter I paid nothing. There was a recall in the first half of 2026 and there they didn't change it, but only did an update. My workshop argumented that this is in context with that and so I got the filter for free.

But this "strange" behavior - which is the main topic of this threat - is still here. Not that often, but still... And as mentioned, there is a second Focus which the same situation and it seems, that it is in connection with this Update.

My workshop will keep me updated and maybe they'll find a solution.

I can give another brief update:
Interestingly, after the DPF was replaced, there was peace and quiet for a while. It recently started again, although I must say it is significantly less common.

I then had something to do with my dealer and brought it up - that's when I learned that I'm NOT the only one involved and that it might apparently be related to the last update after all. They've definitely already reported it to Ford. We will definitely keep each other updated.

sorry for english (I don't speak german).

1) I have the same issue:

- when in D + A/C on -> jerks.

- when in D + A/C off -> no jerks.

Have anyone solved the problem? if yes, how? what was the issue?

2) in D (driving), I have also some jerks much harder, in 2-3 speed or in 3-4 speed (mainly in "Normal" drive, if I put it in "ECO" drive is not).
